Welcome to Santa Barbara Wine Country! SAMsARA produces limited releases of Pinot Noir, Syrah and Chardonnay from carefully selected micro-sites within Sta. Rita Hill's most distinctive vineyards. As the winery's name suggests, the resulting wines are an interpretation of the balance between the natural elements beyond our control and the human desire to reach perfection.
The best part of this virtual experience is a live cellar tour from SAMsARA’s small team. It’s a full immersion into how boutique wine is made—an only-find-here first hand look at a working cellar in action.
The focus is on cool climate vineyards and old-world winemaking techniques, like native yeasts, whole cluster fermentation, gentle maceration and extended barrel aging. The team also believes deeply in sustainability from the vineyard to the winery, which includes organics, biodynamics, hand-farming and more!
